The Tauber sword is a true masterpiece of swordmaking and an exclusive collaboration between Valiant Armoury and renowned sword maker Angus Trim. The blade of the sword is made from high-quality, hand-crafted 5160 high carbon spring steel and is of type XVIIIb, known for its sharpness and durability. The sword has an impressive overall length of 45 1/8 inches, with a blade length of 35 1/8 inches and a handle length of 7 1/4 inches. The blade width at the guard is 1 13/16 inches and the blade thickness at the guard is 0.252 inches, providing stability and robustness. The Tauber sword weighs 2 lb 13 oz and has a balanced center of balance 4 1/4 inches from the guard, making it a nimble and easy-to-handle sword. The hilt fittings come in Antiqued Grey as standard and the grip is in timeless Antiqued Brown. The new black Spike Hawk pick from Cold Steel with an overall length of approx. 48 cm and a hawk length of approx. 23 cm is made from 1055 Carbon steel. The handle is made of American Hickory. While it's certainly capable of performing utility chores, the Spike Hawk really excels when it's used as a weapon. With one highly effective edge and a long spike, it puts any adversary on the horns of a fierce dilemma: Face the edge in brutal chopping, cutting, slashing and gouging attacks or risk getting huge deep holes punched in you by the fearsome spike. To make matters even worse for an attacker, either end of the hawk can be used to hook or trap an opponent's weapon, neck, arm or leg, to control or manipulate the situation to one's advantage. Furthermore, the overall length of the of the hawk measures approx. 23 cm across making it a wide, stiff platform that can be punched into an incoming weapon arm to momentarily stop its forward motion and immobilize it.
