Product information "Olmutz - 11th Century, Size XL"
Based on the Czech Olmutz helmet, ours is constructed from two welded halves of 1.6mm steel. The sal is cut from 3mm steel, again for extra strength, and welded to the helmet bowl. It is then finished in such a way so as to cover any weld marks giving it a seamless look making it look like it was crafted from a single piece of steel. A similar copy can also be found in Augsburg Museum.
