The blade of the Roiyaru katana Katana is handmade and forged from special high carbon Japanese steel (DC53) making a strong, flexible blade with a naginata hi (groove). With 2 different HRC grades on the back (40) and on the edge (60) the blade is very strong.

The tsuka (handle) is covered in black same (ray skin) and the Tsuka Ito (handle wrap) is best japanese gold brown 10mm wide silk. The tsuba is made from brass. The koiguchi is made from 92,5% silver and the handmade saya was made from dried poplar wood. The kurigata is made from wood and is covered with 92,5% silver. Tatami Omote - high quality
This mat is made from rice straw and can be used for the traditional japanese cutting test tameshigiri. The mat has a dimension of 180*70-90cm. By this we can make sure that each and every cutting customers will be satisfied. The experienced cutter can buy and cut this mat without any problems. The advantages are obvious :- not pre rolled, can be rolled individually- high density, high withstood when cutting- challenging to cut - can be rolled up to 7 or more times into each other in order to make big targetsWe recommend this tatami omote to all customers practicing tameshigiri on a regular basic, to everybody who is looking for a hard to cut target and to every martial arts practicioner who wants to check his technique. When you compare the 2 kinds of tatami omote, basic and high quality, then you will quickly realize that the basic quality tatami omote has only half the withstood the high quality has. Or in other words to say, the high quality is twice the hard to cut as the basic quality. The reason for this lies directly in the structure of the omote. The high quality has a much higher density than the basic quality. If you want to order larger quantities than 200 mats please ask for our offer.

Maintenance Kit
The maintainance kit has everything in it which you need for the must of care for your handmade sword. Comes with oil and powder. Oil is used to prevent the rust of the sword. Oil makes a film of the oil between the sword body and the air, and it prevents the oxidization of the sword body. Oil dries in about some time. Therefore, reprint it in the new oil once in a month. The thing which made a whetstone powder-shaped is being packed into the Uchiko. White powder appears from the Uchiko when a sword body is struck with the Uchiko. There are two use purposes. The Uchiko removes the old oil which sticks to the sword body. Furthermore, the Uchiko beautifies the surface of the sword. Nuguigami: The Nuguigami is not just regular paper, it is high quality thick japanese paper for cleaning swords. It is used for wiping out old oil and wiping out the Uchiko. The Mekuginuki is used to remove the Mekugi of the sword. The Mekuginuki can remove the Mekugi with the sharp part. In order to use the Mekuginuki for removing the Mekugi, the hammerhead part can be removed from the rest of the Mekuginuki. How to take care for your sword: How to take care of the sword after an Iaido practices or Tameshigiri will be explained with this topic. Take care of the sword after the practices always. If the care for the sword is neglected, a sword rusts in the sweat of the hand. Face an edge toward the top, and pull out a sword slowly from the sheath. Then, be careful not to damage a sheath. Hold the sword pulled out with your left hand. Then, remove old oil and dust from the sword with the Nuguigami. Put a Nuguigami on the Mune of the sword when wiping the sword, and wipe the sword toward the top from the bottom. Pat a sword body with the Uchiko. Powder equally on the both sides of the sword body. Then, wipe the white powder with the new Nuguigami which is different from the paper used some time ago. Repeat this handle, and remove the blurs of the oil completely. Apply new oil to the sword body, and put away a sword to the sheath. Put the oiling paper on the Mune of the sword when oiling the sword, and oil the sword toward the top from the bottom. Don't oil a sword in quantity very much. Oil equally the both sides of the sword body. If the care for the sword is finished, put a sword in the sword bag, and keep it. Keep a sword in the place where it dries in the shade. How to take care of the sword of this topic isn't perfect. Therefore, remove the hilt once in three months, and care for the tang (Nakago) and so on.

Folded Blade Sword With Scabbard
Since quite a long time there were only decorative swords on the market matching the Blade theme. But now there is the first real razor sharp handforged and folded Blade sword for sale ! Blade was born half-vampire, when his mother was fatally bitten by the powerful vampire, Deacon Frost. This has given him superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and extraordinary senses. However, these abilities come with one major weakness, his thirst for blood. Blade also has a healing factor, but this does not retard his aging. Unlike the rest of the vampire community, he can walk in sunlight, though it causes some discomfort and he must wear sunglasses. Because of this rare ability, he has become know as the Daywalker. He is a master of martial arts and is aided in his quest by his long-time friend, Whistler. This companion-in-arms has created for Blade an arsenal of weaponry ranging from his acid-etched titanium sword and glaive, to a MAC-10 automatic pistol. Blade can speak Czech, Russian and of course, the Vampire language. Blade remains committed to his mission, to rid the world of all vampires. Details: Total length: approx. 85.5 cm Blade length: approx. 66 cm Handle length: approx. 16 cm Blade width: approx. 3.3 cm near the handle Blade thickness: approx. 5.3 mm near the handle and approx. 2.7 mm near the tip Weight: approx. 880 g without sword sheath and 1.5 kg with sword sheath This sword is handforged and has a sharp blade.
