This beauty is named after the mystic bird that rises again from its ashes after being burnt. The Phoenix Damascus sword is characterised by the love of detail. The 200 layers of Damascus steel are classy and discreet. The blade is sharp. Beneath the traditionally wrapped and with two menukis decorated handle there is authentic ray skin.
The blade is focussed by two mekugis. Every fitting part is decorated with pictures of a phoenix. After the wooden saya is lacquered elaborately, it is coated with clear paint.
