Kopis Machete
The Kopis Machete is modeled closely on an ancient sword design that was held in high esteem by the Greeks, Romans, and Spaniards. This was because its uniquely shaped blade had the weight forward balance that was optimal for cutting and chopping, yet it retained a sharp useful point for thrusting as well. Cold Steels Kopis Machete is equipped with a traditional semi-D ring guard reinforced throughout by the steel tang and is delivered with a sturdy, thick nylon sheath.

Sehr tolle Machete, liegt super in der Hand und kommt mit einer guten Grundschärfe. Für den Preis kann man nix falsch machen. einziger Minuspunkt die Klingenstäkre. Sonst Top!

A fully armed 13th Century Knight was a true power, capable of plowing through a multitude of opponents while encased in his state of the art plate armor that could shed, deflect or absorb the blows of many of his foes. Enter the War Hammer- an ideal weapon for use against an opponent who is encased in plate steel. The heavy hammer head could crush the strongest helmet or suit of plate armor with just a few blows and the back spike could rip through helm and plate like a modern can opener! In battle, the hammer side was usually employed first to knock down and stun an enemy. Once he was on the ground, helpless, the hammer was reversed and the back spike was used to punch a hole through the helmet and deliver the coup de grace. Now Cold Steel brings you an inexpensive, yet highly effective, recreation of this awesome weapon. Weighing a little over 1120 g, the War Hammer is highly maneuverable and can be easily wielded with one or both hands. The head is drop forged out of 1055 steel and differentially heat treated. This means the point of the spike and enormous hammer face (approx. 3.8 cm x 3.8 cm) are fully hardened so they can pierce and crush tough materials without failing while the rest of the hammer is left soft to absorb the shock of heavy blows. The handle of this War Hammer has been designed to be equally tough. Made of straight grain American Hickory and measuring approx. 76 cm long it provides tremendous leverage so enormously powerful blows may be struck. To protect the handle from assault by an opponent armed with an edged weapon we have included a pair of sturdy steel langets which can be attached below the head with the screws provided. (Some assembly is required. Instructions are included). Miyamoto Musashi Katana BoHi

Our Miyamoto Musashi Katana BoHi is part of the Ronin class and is forged from 1060 steel. The blade has been polished sharply and has a BoHi on it. The blade hardness is 55 HRC and was tested and confirmed in a laboratory in Germany. The ito wrapping is made of black silk and was applied to the real ray skin on the handle. The Tsuba displays a double ring design which is always associated with Miyamoto Musashi. The handle and blade are bound by 2 Mekugi for solid fit of the handle on the tang. For the fittings we choose simple black iron mountings for the Kashira and Fuchi without any adornment. Just as Musashi dedicated most of his life solely to combat, so the fittings of this Katana should not distract from that which is fundamental. This sword is a reasonably priced basic model intended only for cutting. Now some may say that this design is much too plain.
