Guter Holzgriff mit echter Rochenhaut, der zwar die üblichen China-Schwächen an Wicklung, Fuchi-Kashira und Menuki aufweist, sich aber aufgrund seiner Länge und der guten Holzqualität und vor allem wegen seines unschlagbaren Preises als Rohling für einen eigenen Griffbau eignet. Je nach Qualität der Klinge lassen sich höherwertige Zierrate mit einer hochwertigen Wicklung kombinieren, und auch die Same lässt sich leicht färben oder bleichen... Somit kann man relativ preisgünstig seinen eigenen individuellen Griff bauen und hat dann, das notwendige handwerkliche Geschick vorausgesetzt, eine hochwertige handgemachte Einzelanfertigung... Besser geht nur noch als Auftragsleistung in Japan :-)

Sehr guter griff ! die endkappen sind so lala , aber mit einem fliess poliert sehen die gut aus . zur anpassung empfele ich schlüsselfeilen - innen ein bischen ausfeilen , zwichendurch anpassen dann passt es perfekt ! zur borung empfele ich ein 5 er borer und dann mit einer runden schlüsselfeile ausfeilen . ( ausgemessen mit habaki seppas und tsuba ) die rochenhaut sollte man vorher mit einem bastelmesser ankörnen damit man bein boren nicht abrutcht und den griff versaut (bein boren auf die griffwicklung aufpassen) ich selbst hatte 15 min gebraucht und bin mit den ergebnis zufrieden ^^
