Das Schwert ist echt super. Tolle Verarbeitung, sieht echt wertig aus und macht sich super an der Wand :) Der Kunderservice ist auch echt super, man bekommt immer sehr schnell eine Rückmeldung. Das war das erste Schwert, das ich bei euch bestellt hab und mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Schwert :)

Ein wirklich wuchtiges Schwert, sieht genial aus an der Wand, obwohl die Halterung mit dem Schattenwolf etwas größer sein könnte, so verschwindet er nämlich fast. Nichtsdestotrotz ein wirklich schönes Schwert und ein Blickfang garantiert. Absolutes Muss für jeden Stark Fan

Bestellung lief perfekt ab. Vorbildliche Verpackung für den Transport des Schwertes. Ein schönes Schwert. Die Größe des Schwetes ist beeindruckend. Man liest vor der Bestellung zwar die Größe in der Theorie, aber das Schwert dann wirklich in der vollen Größe vor sich zu haben ist dann wieder was anderes.

Ein schön gearbeitetes Stück und ein Riesenteil (146 cm)! Wenn man z.B. das Schwert von Robb Stark daneben legt, sieht das im Größenverhältnis aus wie ein Zahnstocher. Einziges Manko ist ein etwas klein geratene Aufhängeschild, da hätte man mehr auf die Proportionen achten müssen. Aber ansonsten: klasse!!!

Empfehlenswert von dem Material des Griffes, bis hin zur Verpackung! Fange ich mal von außen an. Das Schwert wurde sicherer verpackt als so manche Tafelservice. 2 Kartons und eine passgenaue Styroporform. Das Klinge in Öl getränkt und mit Folie umwikelt. Der Griff liegt super in der Hand und zeigt keinerlei Unregelmäßigkeiten auf. Klinge und Parierstange wurde zum glänzen gebraucht und sind ohne erkennbare Makel. Einzig das Schild ist etwas klein und die Schrauben mit denen man dies befästigen soll sind nicht wirklich vertrauens würdig. Aber Dübel und Schrauben hat man ja meist im Haus und das Schwert soll ja auch im Vordergrund stehen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Orcrist - Sword of Thorin Oakenshield

In Third Age of Middle-earth, Thorin Oakenshield and his Company of Dwarves came upon a troll lair in Rhûdaur. There Thorin found an ancient Elven sword named Orcrist, forged by the high Elves of the West, in Gondolin. Thorin claimed Orcrist for his own and vowed to cleave Goblins with it once again. He wielded the sword through most of the Quest for Erebor, using it against the Goblins of the Misty Mountains. The Goblins called it “Biter” and hated and feared it. The blade of Orcrist features a curved leaf shape on one side, and a straight edge on the other, a fitting design for a blade meant to cleave Orcs and Goblins. Adorning the pommel is an emblem of the heraldry of Ecthelion of the Fountain. The hilt is shaped from the tooth of a dragon. It is unknown if the tooth was acquired prior to the fifth battle of the First Age, or added to the sword with the inscription in the millennia after the Fall of Gondolin, most likely by the Dwarves of the North. Inscriptions on the sword in Elven runes: On the guard is the name Orcrist “Goblin-cleaver”. Blade Inscription (both sides): “The serpent’s tooth”.
