Rillet Rapier, Light Wood & Gold, 103cm

Epic Armoury's Rillet Rapier from the Vanguard line takes its design cues from the rapiers of the Renaissance. While many historical rapiers featured particularly slender blades and were associated with the ornamental weapons of European courts, this model draws inspiration from the more robust rapiers traditionally designed for battle and warfare.

The specially designed guard provides comprehensive hand protection. It protects the top of the hand like a conventional crossguard while also shielding the fingers in a manner similar to a basket hilt, combining protection with distinctive styling.

The grooved handle improves grip and provides secure, controlled handling. The chappe, or rain guard, is positioned inside the crossguard and features decorative engravings resembling curling vines. Matching engravings surround the globe-shaped pommel, creating a cohesive floral design.

The blade is made from closed-cell polyurethane foam and carefully shaped and colored to achieve a highly realistic appearance. This makes the Rillet Rapier an excellent choice for Renaissance, historical, and fantasy LARP characters.

Like all LARP weapons in the Vanguard line, the Rillet Rapier requires virtually no maintenance beyond regular inspections for signs of wear such as cuts or breaks.

The Rillet Rapier is available in Epic Black and Light Wood & Gold, with length options of 85 cm and 103 cm.
