Mercenary Sword - 114cm

Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Sword is part of the Vanguard line and takes its design cues from the longswords of medieval Europe. Its versatile grip is designed to accommodate both one-handed and two-handed use, making it a flexible choice for a wide range of LARP characters.

The crossguard is smaller than those found on many European swords, allowing for a greater range of movement when handling the blade. The highly detailed polyurethane hilt is sculpted to resemble wood reinforced with rivets and gold-colored bands. The guard and pommel feature a steel-colored finish with gold detailing, while the shaped grip provides a secure and comfortable hold.

The blade is made from closed-cell polyurethane foam and carefully colored to achieve a highly lifelike appearance. Kevlar tip protection reinforces the sword's point, helping it remain strong yet flexible while maintaining its shape over time.

Like other weapons in the Vanguard line, the Mercenary Sword requires virtually no maintenance beyond regular inspection for signs of wear and tear, such as cuts or breaks.
