The same diamond whetstone as DC3, but instead of the leather pouch, it is sold with a double coated pressure sensitive adhesive tape which allows you to fasten it on any flat spot, e g our zytel sheaths. The VHB 5925F tape is extremely strong and will harden permanently within 24 hrs. In size the D3t will fit the F1, S1, H1 and the A1 zytel sheath.

Flattening Silicone Carbridge Powder Grit 60

Correcting powder made of silicon carbide granulate for levelling/straightening and cleaning of grinding stones. Both natural and synthetic whetstones become hollow on the working surface over time during sharpening, resulting in an inward curvature. Correcting powder is used to create or maintain a flat/straight surface. The correcting powder is suitable for Japanese water stones with a grain size of 2000 and above as well as soft-bonded natural stones (e.g. Belgian Chunk/Coticule). Not suitable for artificial ceramic stones, Arkansas stones and diamond grinding plates. Apply a small amount of the powder to a hard and smooth surface, e.g. a thick safety glass pane, a polished marble or granite slab. Moisten the powder with water. Now rub the whetstone you want to plane with circular movements against the base moistened with powder until the desired result is achieved. Supplied in a plastic bottle with 230 g powder.
