Designed by renowned personal-defense expert and Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame member Michael Janich, the Spyderco YoJumbo expands upon the award-winning Yojimbo 2 with a blade that is over 20% larger and ergonomics refined to accommodate a wider range of hand sizes. At the heart of the YoJumbo is a 4-inch Wharncliffe blade crafted from Spyderco's exclusive CPM-SPY27 stainless steel. This cobalt-enriched powder metallurgy steel is proprietary to Spyderco and delivers an outstanding balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The deep hollow grind maximizes cutting efficiency, making the knife equally capable for precision work and demanding cutting tasks.

The blade features Spyderco's iconic Round Hole, allowing fast, smooth, and fully ambidextrous one-handed deployment. This signature opening system has become one of the defining features of Spyderco knives and ensures quick, reliable access whenever needed.

The open-backed handle is constructed around skeletonized stainless steel liners that reduce weight while providing the strength required for Spyderco's renowned Compression Lock mechanism. These liners are nested within coarse blue peel-ply textured G10 scales, the signature color of Spyderco's premium CPM-SPY27 family, offering excellent grip even in wet or challenging conditions.

For maximum carry flexibility, the YoJumbo features a four-position pocket clip, allowing tip-up or tip-down carry on either the left or right side.
