Spyderco's highly popular Sage Series is a remarkable collection of folding knives that share the same fundamental design while incorporating different locking mechanisms. Each model in the series pays tribute to a pioneering knife designer who invented or helped popularize the respective lock.

The Sage 6 honors custom knifemaker Kevin Smock and his innovative Button-Release Compression Lock, a distinctive variation of Spyderco's original Compression Lock mechanism.

This premium version of the Sage 6 takes the proven design a step further with a blade crafted from CPM REX 121. This high-vanadium, cobalt-bearing tool steel was specifically developed to deliver exceptional sharpness and outstanding edge retention. The 7.6 cm blade features an elegant leaf-shaped profile, a full-flat grind, and a refined satin finish.

Distinctive burnt-orange G10 scales with a characteristic peel-ply texture give the handle a unique appearance and secure grip. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip completes the design, allowing tip-up carry on either the left or right side.
