The handle scales are made from injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), which is lighter than G10 while still offering excellent strength. Spyderco’s signature Bi-Directional Texturing ensures a secure, high-traction grip in all conditions. The handle houses a streamlined Compression Lock mechanism that keeps the blade securely open while allowing safe one-handed operation.

The blade is crafted from CTS-BD1N stainless steel and features a full flat grind for excellent slicing performance and versatility. This version is equipped with the aggressive SpyderEdge serrated edge, which excels at cutting fibrous materials such as rope, webbing, and cord.
