Building on and honoring SOG's long tradition of working with and honoring Japanese knife makers, SOG has partnered with Kiku Matsuda, one of the leading tactical knife designers and blade grinders in Japan, to produce a knife line. The result is the Kiku knife series, which is equipped with a fast, spring-supported high-end blade made of satin-finished CPM-S-35VN, which shows the Matsuda trademark and the unmistakable blade finish.
SOG Assisted Technology (SAT ) is based on counter-rotating high-voltage coil springs, which ensure that when the blade is opened, the force of opening is greater than the force of closing and the blade opens as if by itself. The handle consists of a continuous stainless steel insert with an elegant canvas micarta handle that is robust and easy to clean. With lanyard loop and removable clip (tip-up).
