ButtonUp – Carbon Fiber, serrated edge

Designed by Eric Glesser, the Spyderco ButtonUp is Spyderco's first-ever manual-opening folding knife equipped with a button lock. It combines a high-strength, highly convenient button lock mechanism with ball-bearing pivot washers to provide an exceptionally smooth and satisfying action.

The modified clip point blade is crafted from corrosion-resistant 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and features a full-flat grind for an excellent balance of cutting performance and blade strength. The satin-finished blade is housed in an open-backed handle construction.

The handle features smooth peel-ply carbon fiber/G10 laminate scales, reinforced around the pivot and lock with precisely integrated stainless steel micro-liners.

For convenient and versatile carry, the ButtonUp includes a reversible hourglass pocket clip that allows tip-up carry on either the left or right side. A lanyard tube integrated into the butt of the handle provides an easy attachment point for fobs and lanyards.
