ButtonUp Black G10

Designed by Eric Glesser, the Spyderco ButtonUp is Spyderco's first-ever manually opened folding knife featuring a button lock. It combines a high-strength, convenient button-lock mechanism with ball-bearing pivot washers to provide an exceptionally smooth opening and closing action.

Its combination of smooth mechanics, convenient operation and compact dimensions makes the ButtonUp a versatile everyday companion.

8Cr13MoV Blade with Full-Flat Grind

The modified clip-point blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and features a full-flat grind. This blade geometry combines efficient cutting performance with a robust overall design.

The blade features a clean satin finish and a PlainEdge cutting edge.

G10 Handle with Reinforced Construction

The open-backed handle features black G10 scales reinforced by nested stainless steel micro-liners around the pivot and lock. This creates a strong yet relatively lightweight handle construction.

The button lock provides convenient operation and securely locks the blade in the open position.

Ambidextrous Carry System

The ButtonUp features a reversible hourglass pocket clip that allows tip-up carry on either the right or left side. The clip is anchored to additional micro-liners at the butt of the handle and straddles a lined lanyard tube.

This allows a fob or lanyard to be attached easily.
