Product information "John Lee Shiro Katana"

Shiro (english "white") has a major importance in many respects in the Japanese culture. Among other things this color stands for purity and sanctity but also for grief and death. The Samurai donned white under their armaments to symbolize their willingness to fight till death.

Blade in Shinogi Zukuri style with fuller (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from 1045 carbon steel. The blade is sharp grounded with incorporated Hamon-line for a very authentic look. Handle wrapping made from white cotton in classic Hineri Maki style.

White, high-polish varnished wooden sheath.

With long tang, which is fixed with two bamboo pins (Mekugi) in the handle. The sword is thus fully demountable. Without plastic, only high-quality and authentic materials are used. Blade clamp (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) are made of brass. The traditional handle wrapping is lined with genuine ray skin. All decorations (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are handmade from metal. A protective case made of fabric, a John Lee seal and a certificate are within the scope of supply.

Great sword, better than anticipated considering it quite cheap price

Dieses wunderschöne Katana war mein erstes, und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit. Das Schwert sieht sehr gut aus und ist super verarbeitet, alles sitzt fest, nichts wackelt. Die Klinge könnte ein wenig schärfer sein, allerdings kann man das bei dem Preis nicht erwarten. Für Schnitttests ist es aber natürlich nicht geeignet. Alles in allem bin ich voll zufrieden damit und würde es auch jederzeit wieder kaufen. Wer ein günstiges aber dennoch handgeschmiedetes Schwert sucht kann hier ohne Sorge zuschlagen!

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Schwert. Es ist scharf und schneidet gut durch Papier. Für Schnitttests ist es natürlich nicht geeignet, aber besser als ein Dekoschwert ist es schon. Verpackt ist es absolut super und sauber. Auch die Kiste in der es liegt ist wunderschön gearbeitet.

Dieses Schwert glänzt nun auch in meiner Schwerter Sammlung =) Da ich schon immer ein richtiges Katana " Einsteigerschwert aber Top ! " besitzen wollte, habe ich mir dieses schöne Katana von John Lee geholt. Es sieht super aus, ist schön verarbeitet und ist Scharf! Macht sich als Deko super! Ware ist super eingepackt, das Schwert und die Klinge selbst nochmal extra in Folie gewickelt. Beim auspacken einmal mit einem Tuch drüber gehen und sauber ist es! Einziges Manko: Der Weisse Griff war schon an manchen Stellen etwas Dunkel von evtl. Schmiere/ Öl / Fett ! Denke das beim Zusammenbau so etwas passieren kann/ wird.

Wundervolles Katana. Sehr empfehlenswert. Liegt gut in der Hand und pfeift gut bei den Schnitten. Preis sehr akzeptabel.

Ein sehr schönes und ansehnlich verarbeitetes Katana, welches trotz seines geringen Preises super aussieht und auch sehr gut in der Hand liegt.

Das Schwert war mein erstes und deshalb war ich sehr gespannt wie hochwertig es ist, aber meine Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Das Katana ist echt scharf und sieht sehr edel aus- für den Preis echt super :) eiziges manko ist die Scheide, die zwar gut aussieht, allerdings sitzt bei mir das Schwert sehr locker in ihr. Alles in allem Preis leistung hervorragend!!

Ein sehr schönes Schwert, das gut in der Hand liegt und sich auch länger gut führen lässt. Neben dem Schwert, wird eine äußert schöne und sehr ebenfalls zweckdienliche Scheide aus Holz geliefert. Diese ermöglicht ein schnelles Ziehen des Schwertes.

Rebellion is a massive sword with a heavy double-edged blade, notched on both sides near the tip. In its dormant form, the pommel is a single spike, but after awakening it splits open into several.
