Shortly before his execution the pirate Gold Roger screamed out that he had hidden his vast treasure, the One Piece, somewhere in the Grand Line. This was the start of the great pirate age.

Monkey D. Luffy is a young pirate with a big dream: He wants to become the pirate king and to find the One Piece. He got this dream from Shanks, a pirate who once saved his life and gave him his straw hat. Along with his great strength, which he received from eating the devil’s fruit “GumGum,” he sets out to assemble his own pirate crew. With Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Lysop, he seems to have the perfect team and with the Flying Lamb the perfect ship. Many adventures and surprises still await him.
