Lighting, real name Claire Farron, is the main character of Final Fantasy XIII and its direct successor Final Fantasy XIII-2. She also makes an appearance in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and is the only playable character. She’s fighting using a gunblade, a mix between a gun and a sword, and can change between both versions. She can also activate the AMP function on her gear so that she can use special combat maneuvers like extremely high and long jumps. One of her main character traits is her determination. She performs her tasks with a high level of consistency and precision without enjoying a pause or distractions. Other characters see her straightforwardness as being cold and harsh because she doesn’t show regard for others.
