The Highland Medieval Brigandine is a historical armor inspired by brigandine cuirasses used between the 14th and 16th centuries. Designed with authentic medieval styling and flexible construction, it is ideal for reenactment, renaissance fairs, medieval festivals, and historical displays.
Crafted from high-quality suede leather, this brigandine features riveted leather plates positioned between the outer covering and inner lining. Historically, this style of armor was favored because it was easier for soldiers to build and repair without requiring the advanced skills of a master armorer.
Weighing approximately 6.8 kg, the brigandine offers an excellent balance between protection and mobility. Its flexible construction allows freedom of movement, making it comfortable to wear over gambesons or chainmail.
Two adjustable buckle straps provide a secure fit for various body sizes and improve overall comfort during wear.
