The Indigenous Machete was designed by Joe Flowers as the balanced middle option within the Polar machete lineup. It combines reach, control, and cutting power in a versatile outdoor tool built for demanding field use and camp work.
Visually, the machete carries over the distinctive tribal-inspired patterns first introduced in the Indigenous Puukko series, creating a strong visual connection between the knife and machete families. The result is a functional design with a unique and recognizable identity.
Its long blade is crafted from 1075 high carbon steel, offering excellent toughness and dependable field performance for trail clearing, wood processing, and general outdoor tasks. The natural stonewash finish reduces glare and helps conceal wear from heavy use. A convex grind provides smooth cutting performance with reinforced edge durability.
The walnut handle offers a warm, comfortable grip for extended use. Completing the design is a handcrafted welted leather sheath built without metal hardware, relying on durable stitching for easier field maintenance and long-term reliability.
