It is easy to quickly exchange the magazines (left and right-handed operation possible) and each of them has capacity of 10 bolts. As those magazines fit into standard mag-pouches for AR-15/M-4 rifles it is comfortable to carry spare magazines. And of course, all our AR-Series arrows fit into these magazines, regardless if they are target arrows or deadly broadheads.

The benefit of detachable magazines is not only the quick reload, but that it is now very easy to quickly exchange the arrow type. This allows you to adapt to any situation. E.g. if you store your crossbow after a target session, you can still very quickly get it ready for a defensive application by loading a magazine filled with hunting arrows. And with razor sharp broadheads those closed magazine offer another advantage: the dangerous tips are enclosed and it is now much less likely to hurt yourself. Especially our AR-6 speedloader needs some care when using them with razor sharp tips and under stress. So you are not only much quicker with a reload but also much safer.

Note: Do not fire at your Premium Target until it has reached room temperature. Especially when outside temperatures are low, the Slydarc foam in the TP-5711 target may be too cold and thus too hard when it is delivered. We generally recommend allowing the target to rest at room temperature for at least one hour before use. This allows the foam to become softer and prevents damage to the target.Use at room temperature also provides for the soft-pull effect, meaning that you can remove the bolts or arrows from the target effortlessly with just two fingers. They have a carbon shaft, a hardened tool steel point glued into the shaft, and a high quality polymer nock.Attention: Be sure to comply with the hunting laws in your country or state! Crossbow hunting is highly restricted in Europe!Just like our Hunting Arrows, our Warbolts are fitted with a blade. But unlike our Hunting Arrows, these tips are based on historical arrow point designs. The designation “warbolt” comes from the fact that points of exactly this type were used in long-ago wars. The heavy Warbolts (marked by an additional stainless steel ring) are designed for our limbs with higher draw weights (90 to 150 lb). They have a high-quality aluminum nock and a hybrid carbon/aluminum shaft, meaning there is an aluminum core running inside the carbon shaft. This complex structure offers outstanding flight characteristics and makes the arrows extremely robust. At a weight of 247 grains, these arrows are considerably heavier and strike their target with high momentum. This allows them to carry extreme momentum into the target and to transfer a high degree of energy from the limb.
