Limbs – the power source of every crossbow

The limb is the power source of every crossbow and plays a key role in determining its performance and efficiency. With a repeating or magazine-fed crossbow, however, it is not only the speed of the arrow that matters, but also how quickly and how often the limb can be cocked.

That is why we offer a wide range of power levels – from recreational shooting and training to paintball and scenario applications, as well as hunting and demanding applications.

Choosing the right limb

Always start with a lower power level and work your way up gradually.
A lighter limb allows you to develop a smooth and fast shooting sequence while building the necessary strength. It also reduces wear and stress on arrows, strings and targets.

35 & 55 lbs – recreation, training & safety
Lightweight limbs requiring little cocking effort. Ideal for Compact models, target shooting, paintball and scenario training, where permitted by law.

75 & 90 lbs – sport & experienced users
For sporting applications and experienced shooters. Both limbs already offer high performance and allow for rapid follow-up shots with appropriate training.

120 & 150 lbs – hunting & demanding applications
Very powerful limbs offering high range and penetration. They require regular training, safe cocking technique and particularly responsible handling. Not suitable for beginners.

135 lbs Protector – maximum performance for the PD-5
Developed specifically for the PD-5. This narrow and compact limb delivers extremely high performance but requires good cocking technique and adequate strength. Not suitable for beginners and leaves little room for user error.

Quality and manufacturing
The performance layer consists of laminated fiberglass. Carbon outer layers are then applied to both sides. The individual layers are bonded together by hand, building up the limb layer by layer. The epoxy resin initially cures in air before being fully cured in an oven.
The individual limbs are then cut to size, sanded, painted and printed. This means that every one of our limbs represents not only a great deal of expertise, but also a considerable amount of craftsmanship.
Our goal: robust and durable products that can also withstand minor user errors. The carbon outer layer provides additional stability and helps hold the limb together in the event of a breakage.
Many of these details are invisible – but you can feel the difference.

Important
Always observe the applicable legal regulations in your country. Even a lower-powered limb does not make a crossbow a toy.

Warning: Even with 35 and 55 lbs, sharp hunting arrows can cause serious injuries. The risk increases accordingly with more powerful limbs. Always be aware of what is behind your target.
