Half-Handmade Katana

Half-handmade means that the handforged carbon steel blade has been carefully grinded with the help of modern machines. The blade´s surface, however, has been polished by hand and features a fine structure. The blade´s back matches old originals with its thickness of 7 mm. The hardness of the steel is about 50 HRC. This katana has a very long and convenient handle made of wood, which has been wrapped traditionally. The strong tsuba has been intricately decorated on both sides and completes this longsword together with a varnished wooden scabbard.
