Product information "Devil May Cry 5 - Dante´s Rebellions Sword - Screaming Skull Version"

Rebellion is a massive sword with a heavy double-edged blade, notched on both sides near the tip. In its dormant form, the pommel is a single spike, but after awakening it splits open into several. The grip is plain, but the guard is skeletal, with a skull-design on each side leading to the rib cage from which the blade emerges; on one side of the blade, the skull is that of a human, while the other uses a horned demon's skull. Initially, the crossguard is folded in against the ribs, but it extends and the skull transform to a screaming skull once the sword is awakened by Dante's blood.

In Devil May Cry 5, Rebellion received a slight redesign. The grip has a an interwoven pattern. The quillions are smaller and have a slight curve to them. The skull and quillions both have swirling patterns on them, and the skull on the "demon" side now has horns coming out of its eye sockets. The ribcage is now just a raised addition to the blade rather than surrounding it, with the blade going all the way back to the guard.

Very nice build quality and heft to it

I live in Croatia, and this sword only took three days to ship here, came with everything included, looks exactly as it does in the picture (although with slight factory floor scratches and smudges on the blade that can be polished off), and is fairly heavy and sturdy. I'd recommend this if you're looking for a Devil May Cry prop for a reasonable price, good material and build quality, and an accurate size to the in-game DMC5 one. Also props to Swords and More's customer service for being cordial and responsive.

Devil May Cry 3 - Yamato Vergil's Sword - Wooden Version

Vergil is Dante's twin brother. He is a chief antagonist in Devil May Cry 3 as well as a playable character in the game's Special Edition. After he is betrayed by Arkham at the end of the game's second act (the end of mission 13), he temporarily teams up with Dante near the end, before reverting to his villain role. Throughout the game, Vergil seeks to undo the seal of Sparda inside the Temen-ni-gru and claim the entirety of their father's power for his own, regardless of the effects this will have on the human world. To do so he needed Dante's half of their mother's amulet, so he lured his brother out with the intent of taking it by force. Vergil battles Dante three times in the Devil May Cry 3 storyline. Their first battle is on the highest level of Temen-Ni-Gru, where Dante is soundly defeated by Vergil, who then takes Dante's amulet. Their second battle is at the bottom of the tower, where the twins battle to a draw before their battle is interrupted. Their final battle is near the entrance to the demon realm, where Vergil is finally defeated. Vergil's sword, the Yamato, is used by Nero in Devil May Cry 4, it being restored when Nero's inner demon awakens.
