Gil Hibben has a history of designing knives for Sylvester Stallone to feature in his films, going back to the Rambo III Bowie. Stallone commissioned Gil to make several knives to use in The Expendables and The Expendables 2. One of those was a never-before-produced, custom-designed Legionnaire Bowie. The Legionnaire offers an approx. 24 cm long 7CR17 stainless steel blade with a mirror-polished finish. The handle is constructed of black pakkawood and is accented with a mirrorfinished, solid stainless steel guard and pommel.

Includes a classic leather belt sheath with stamped Hibben logo and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Als ich dieses Messer erhalten habe, war ich angenehm überrascht über die tadellose Verarbeitung. Typisch Gil Hibben. Das Bowie war ordentlich eingeölt und es war etwas müshsam alles zu entfernen. Nach einer sanften Politur und ein paar mal über ein Leder gezogen, zeigt das Bowie seine Stärken. Nadelspitz, sehr scharf (schneidet Papier wie Butter) und überhaupt keine Fehler oder Unreinheiten zu erkennen. Ein Top Modell von Gil Hibben. Für mich eins meiner Favoriten. Der Griff ist wuchtig, liegt aber gut in der Hand, das Finish ist klasse. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung!!! Auch hier zu erwähnen der super Service von Swords and More

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Das Messer liegt gut in der Hand und ist recht scharf. Ich bin froh, dass kein Expendables Logo auf der Scheide vorhanden ist. So kann man das Messer auch mit sich tragen. Diese Logos sind ja peinlich. Schnelle Lieferung wie immer. Danke an Swords & more.

Da gibt es einfach nicht negatives zu sagen. Nur musste ich etwas Wachs abwischen und schnitt mir dadurch in den Finger, da es wirklich verdammt scharf ist. Auch die Scheide ist perfekt und lässt sich gut am Gürtel tragen.

Da ich immer sehr skeptisch bin, was Produkte angeht, die aus China kommen, war ich jetzt auch nicht besonders anspruchsvoll eingestellt - obwohl man bei diesem Preis (wenn auch runtergesetzt) schon eine Mindestanforderung stellen kann, wie ich meine. Optisch war ich schon angetan, saubere Verarbeitung, kann man nicht anders sagen. Aber: Gut das Swords and more hier keine Angaben darüber gemacht hat, das Gewicht des Messers wird im WorldWideWeb mit 770g angegeben! Tatsächlich wiegt es "nackt" ohne Lederscheide nur ca. 550g !!! und mit Lederscheide ca. 660g!!!! Das finde ich von den Verantwortlichen schon frech - mal gelinde ausgedrückt!!

sehr schöne verarbeitung der klinge und des griffes, die lederscheide ist sehr robust und passt genau! ausserdem ist es sehr scharf geschliffen!!! alles in allem ein wirklich gelungenes messer!!!!

Hallo! Ich habe das Teil ausgepackt und war sofort begeistert! Sehr schön verarbeitet, nichts wackelt und der gleichen. Das Bowie ist hervorragend geschliffen und nadelspitz. Außerdem ist die Klinge mit einem Rostschutz versehen. Alles in allem ein Wunderschönes Messer, kann ich nur empfehlen! Viel Spaß beim kaufen ;-)

ich hab mich so darauf gefreut, Das Bowie ist wirklich mächtig und sieht unglaublich gut aus. aber die verarbeitung ist leider mittelmäßig, ein teil am griff wackelt minnimal und das griffholz ist auch nicht so toll. aber es liegt bei mir sowiso nur in der Vitriene, deswegen ist das nicht so schlimm. ist echt ein Hingucker !!!
