Ein Wahnsinnsteil die Hibben III Combat Machete !! Gerade das ausgefallene Klingendesign ist außergewöhnlich für eine Machete. Zudem ist die Verarbeitung der Klinge sowie die des Holzgriffes einwandfrei. Einfach ein Genuss mit Ihr zu arbeiten ... Lediglich die Lederscheide fällt für Hibben-Verhältnisse ernüchternd aus. Dafür gibt's leider einen Punkt abgezogen. Ansonsten ganz klare Kaufempfehlung !!!

Beeindruckend die Form und die Verarbeitung, sehr scharf. Durch das Gewicht der Klinge stark kopflastig, aber bei einer Machete dieser Art zu erwarten. Einfach ein Genuss sie zu benutzen.

Ein beeindruckendes Messer mit einer Klingenform, die einen mit der Zunge schnalzen lässt. Für relativ wenig Geld bekommt man ein sehr solides und wirklich gut verarbeitetes Messer.

909 gr. Heavy Metal auf 4 4 c m verteilt und gut verarbeitet. Leider ist die Messerscheide ein lappriger Lederlappen geworden. Das hab ich bei Hibben noch nicht erlebt!

Ein wunderschönes Messer. Ein mal ganz anderes Design, hochwertige Marerialien und eine sehr gute Verarbeitung machen dieses Messer zu einem echten Hingucker. Und der Preis ist auch in Ordnung. Der Service ist ebenfalls kaum zu toppen. Ich habe am Montag bestellt und hielt das Messer am Mittwoch (gleiche Woche) in Händen.

Sehr schönes und edles Messer. Sehr gut verarbeitet und mit dem Gewicht von 885 gr. hat man auch ein gutes Gefühl in der Hand. Einziges kleines Manko ist der Verschluss der Lederscheide. Steckt das Messer drinnen, kann man den Gurtknopf nicht schließen - muss man dann selber einen neuen daneben setzen. Ansonsten ist die Scheide sehr gut. Ob das Problem bei der IVer-Serie noch besteht, kann ich nicht sagen.

Ein edles Teil von besonderer Form, speziell im Hinblick auf die herkömmliche Macheten-Form. Gewicht ist für den Vielfach-Einsatz an der Grenze, die Hand wird gut in den beiden Parierstücken gehalten. Würde ich mir immer wieder kaufen

Shintai Katana

Shintai are objects, which play the role of relics in religious sites. In the Japanese mythology they are considered to be the domicile of the gods (Kami). The sword is among mirror and gems (the Japanese throne regalia) a typical shintai. The katana has a handforged blade made of carbon steel with a fine hamon and has been tempered traditionally. In addition, the steel of the blade has been folded 12 times, that means about 8000 layers have been created which give the sword a beautiful damascus pattern. The sharp blade features a hi (fuller) to reduce the total weight. The tsuba features Japanese gods. The handle (tsuka) is made of wood, has been coated with real fish skin and features two menukis. In addition it has been traditionally wrapped in black cotton. The tang is especially long and fixed with two bamboo pegs (mekugi). The scabbard (saya) is made of wood and the blade collar (habaki) is made of brass. This katana has been made according to original museum exhibitions.
