This version has a folded blade!

The folded blade is polished very sharp so you can do cutting test with your Hanzo sword right now!
There are 2 megukis in the handle which hold the blade tight.
The handle wrapping is made from leather and under it there are 2 nice menuki.

The fittings are made from blackened iron and show blossoms.

The blade is made from high carbon steel and has a fake temper line.
Right behind the habaki the Hanzo lion is engraved on the blade.

This katana will be delivered together with a high quality stand and a maintenance kit.

Sehr gute Qualität und ein sehr schönes Schwert. Keine Mängel aber die Lieferzeit war etwas zu lang.

Ich habe mir das Schwert nicht wegen Kill Bill gekauft, sondern wegen der Verarbeitung und ich muss sagen das diese meinen Erwartungen weit übertroffen haben. Egal ob Film-oder Schwert-Fan zu diesen preis ist es nicht nur empfehlenswert sondern auch noch Spot billig!

Das angebotene Set, kann ich nur empfehlen. Wenn man so wie ich, eher ein Klingen - Fan, als ein Film - Fan ist, dann ist der Aufpreis für die gefaltene Klinge, es auf jeden Fall wert. Die Verarbeitung der einzelnen Komponenten ist gut, allerdings hat die Klinge im Bereich der Löwen - Gravur bereits einen kleinen Rostfleck! (das ist auch auf den Katalogbildern zu sehen, kann aber mit etwas mechanischem Aufwand beseitigt werden!!!) Die Sprühflasche mit dem Schwertöl ist leider undicht, das Problem ist mittlerweile kein Einzelfall mehr und sollte abgestellt werden! Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k! Das Einsteiger - Katana ist auf jeden Fall ein guter Kauf, wenn man etwas änständiges haben will, aber dfür kein "Vermögen" ausgeben will.
