Each and every LARP weapon produced by "Forgotten Dreams Design" was created following 3 main points. "... 1. Security Because of us thinking that security is the main criteria we always ask our customer to critizise our weapons and with that give us the chance to improve our production.Our products do not contain any metal components in order to create a heavier weapon. The tip of the fiber glass is covered by a very resistable material. This way of manufacturing the weapon prevents the core stick from being damaged. Why did we choose this way of light manufacturing ? With a heavy weapon you can strike much harder than with a light one, which could mean that you could have injuries as a result of impoper use of the weapon. The way of the manufacturing and also the choice of the components are subjected to strong criterias which come from our own design teams after many years in business. 2. Durability Due to the fact that we use different kinds of foam material we prevent the weapon and the material from damage. The colours we use do harmonize in a special way with the material in the weapon and thereby make sure that the weapon itself will have a long life. We use a special lacquer to finish the surface of the products. All these factors above do make sure that the weapons will stand the battles for a very long time. 3. Design From a replica of a historic weapon to exclusiv design of fantastic and individual models our product variety will last. Due to the fact that all paintings are handmade you will sometimes have some different types of colour on the same article, but as we thing this fact only underlines the individuality of each product. By using these principles we achieved our goal of manufacturing products of very good quality. But these products need a special care and handling. In the next passages we will tell you something about this. How to care for your weapon The weapons should be protected against long lasting sun radiation. When the weapon is dirty you can clean it with water and soap. Before fighting with the weapon use a little silicon spray on the product. The smoother the surface of the weapon the smaller the probability that it will get harmed during a fight. Depending on how often you use your weapon you should use the silicon spray before every event. When storaging the item you should keep an eye on the fact that no heavy things lie on the weapon that can cause damaged to it. In generall you should prevent the surface of the weapon from being damaged by sharp thinks. How to handle your weapon When using a LARP weapon you should always keep in mind that these products are no real weapons. That means a LARP weapon will exhaust during use. The better you care for your weapon the longer it will last ! In generall a strike out with the tip is forbidden on most events and will also harm your LARP weapon.
