RAT 7 with Nylon Sheath

The Ontario RAT-7 was developed in collaboration with the professional survival training team Randall's Adventure & Training (RAT) and manufactured by Ontario Knife Co. This robust fixed-blade knife is designed as a versatile survival and utility tool for demanding outdoor tasks, professional applications and a wide range of general cutting duties.

Its robust construction, 1095 carbon steel blade and durable Micarta handle scales make the RAT-7 a reliable tool designed for extended use. The flat-ground blade features a durable powder-coated finish.

Robust Construction

The 17.78 cm blade is made from 1095 carbon steel and hardened to 55–57 HRC. The flat grind provides a versatile cutting geometry suitable for a wide range of applications.

The Micarta handle scales are 1.93 cm thick. Combined with the robust overall construction, they provide a solid and comfortable grip.
