For almost 60 years, the Spanish company Muela has been one of the leading European manufacturers of classic hunting knives. The family business was founded by Eladio Muela and is managed by all five of his children. From the beginnings in the first little work shed, Muela has developed into a high technology manufacturer with a yearly production of about 350.000 knives. But even with modern, computer aided manufacture, handicraft is still capitalized.

Especially the elaborate processing of stag horn, a speciality of Muela, is impossible with machines; this is when the many years of experience of the experts, who are preparing and mounting scales manually, come into play. High quality national and exotic wood is also used for scales. All manufacturing steps, even the production of their high quality leather sheaths, are done by Muela. With this concept that never left its core behind and never followed short-lived trends, the demand of tradition and continuity of the hunting knife making business is consequently sustained. This means for hunters and outdoor friends that they can rely on the quality of this product blindly.
