The Black KA-BAR Plain Edge Fighter, featuring an extra wide blade that measures 1.50" in width, is constructed with an epoxy powder coated, 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel blade and powdered metal butt cap. Carbon steel guard and oval shaped Kraton G thermoplastic elastomer handle ensure a non-slip grip. The KA-BAR Fighter measures 12.81" overall, with a blade length of 8.1". Offered with a hard plastic sheath made for belt or pack carry.

Taking inspiration from Thai swords in his personal collection and from his extensive training in the Thai Martial Arts, Lynn Thompson began exploring his own interpretation of a Thai sword in Cold Steels Machete format. Lynn has been an active practitioner of Thai Martial Arts since the early 1980s.
