Stylish, distinctive, and uncompromisingly functional, the Hidaka XR was designed by renowned Japanese knife maker and designer Kiku Matsuda, combining his signature design language with rugged functionality.
The 10.2 cm blade is crafted from high-performance CRYO 3V steel and features a distinctive modified tanto profile. Its black finish gives the knife a bold, imposing appearance, while the 3.8 mm blade thickness provides a robust construction.
The elegant black linen Micarta handle offers a secure, comfortable grip and excellent balance in the hand. With an overall length of 22.9 cm from the blade tip to the end of the handle, the Hidaka XR provides a well-balanced and controlled feel.
The SOG XR Lock provides an exceptionally secure locking mechanism capable of withstanding up to 680 kg of force. Combined with the Kick opening mechanism, it offers reliable operation and the solid lockup associated with a fixed-blade knife while retaining the compact convenience of a folding knife.
The reversible low-carry pocket clip allows for flexible and discreet carry.
