The AUS-8 blade offers an exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance, and the steel is further enhanced with Carbonitride Titanium bonding. This provides an added layer of resistance against rust and corrosion, and makes the blade up to 10x harder than untreated steel. This way, the blade can stay sharp far longer than traditional, untreated knife blades. The aircraft aluminum handle also provides strength and rigidity to properly compliment the blade without being too bulky.
