Product information "45er Cavalry Colt, nickel plated"
.45 cal revolver reproduction made of metal and wood, with simulated mechanism of charge and firing, and rotating drum.

The Peacemaker revolver, also known as Single Action Army (SAA), was designed by Samuel Colt in 1873 and it was manufactured with different lengths of cannon: the short, 4.75-inch version, the longer versions 5.5- and 7.5-inch, or The imposing 12-inch "BuntlineSpecial".

This weapon was initially used by the US Army. However, within a few years, most of the American citizens got one of these revolvers. The fact that it used ammunition of the same caliber as the Winchester M1873 rifle helped its popularization as a short weapon in the old North American West in the late nineteenth century.

Curiously, this revolver has received numerous nicknames. Apart of the mentioned Peacemaker, also it was known as Frontier or Widowmaker, in reference to the facility of this revolver to left widows among the wives of the time.

The film industry mythified the "Peacemaker" in the westerns of the 40s and 50s, and it was associated with big screen stars like John Wayne or Gary Cooper. Also Roosevelt had one with his initials engraved and George S. Patton used two.

Feel the role of a great western with the DENIX reproduction of this revolver!

Luger pistol PO8 Parabellum 1898, wooden handle
Reproduction of a pistol, made of metal and wood grips, with simulated mechanism of loading and firing and also with removable magazine. The Parabellum pistol or model 1908 (P08), popularly known as Luger, is a semi-automatic pistol driven by recoil, which survived the restrictions of the Treaty of Versailles. It uses an internal slider, operated by an articulated arm, unlike the external slider common in almost all other semiautomatic pistols. It was designed by Georg Luger in 1898 and produced by the German arms factory Deutsche Waffenund Munitions fabriken (DWM) from the year 1900. During its useful life the Luger P08 passed through the hands of several manufacturers, who were in charge of producing more than one million units of this mythical pistol that marked a before and after in the history of the short weapons.Although the first models were manufactured in 7.65x21 caliber Parabellum, its model of 1908, is famous for being the pistol for which the 9x19 Parabellum cartridge was developed. The denomination Parabellum comes from an old Latin saying "Su vis pacem, para bellum" ("If you want peace, prepare for the war").The Parabellum Luger pistol became very popular thanks to its use by Germany during the First and Second World War and was a pistol very wanted by the soldiers throughout the 20th century.Recreate the most famous battles of the First and Second World War with this Denix replica of the Luger pistol!
