Spears like those have been known to us since the ancient world. Until the Middle Ages they have been a part of the arming of food soldiers and riders among the Celts, Romans, Germanic peoples and Vikings.

The length of the spearhead is about 36 cm. The wooden pole can be separated. The total length is about 215 cm.
