The Tachi, dating back hundreds of years, was the first sword to feature a long curved blade. This construction is way tougher and can be drawn easier. Today, tachis have become a symbol of status due to the beauty of their decorative sheaths and their elaborate ornamentation.

This tachi is especially elaborate. It features an artfully wrapped grip, a finely detailed gold plated scabbard and a brass tsuba. The blade has been made of tempered 420 stainless steel and comes sharp.
